2007 Service Fees Individuals $115 per hour Businesses & Home Businesses $135 per hour. Minimum 1 hour for on-site, Minimum ½ hour in-shop, Minimum ¼ hour remote or phone support. Billed in ¼ hour increments after the minimum. AVG Free Expiration If you are currently using AVG Free Edition, you will need to upgrade the program. There are 2 options: 1. Download and install the updated AVG Free Antivirus (note, AVG Free may only be used on 1 computer, in a non-business environment). 2. Download and install AVG Anti-Malware We strongly recommend that you choose AVG Anti-Malware or AVG Internet Security. Why? AVG Free does not have any anti-spyware features, which means that you must use another product to keep your computer protected from spyware. Most people do not remember to manually run their anti-malware programs (Ad-Aware, Spybot, Ewido, etc.), so their computers are unprotected against these important threats. AVG Anti-Malware includes anti-virus and anti-spyware in one program, that automatically updates itself and automatically runs every day. Pricing is very reasonable, with prices starting at $33.95. There are multi-year and multi-computer discounts. There’s also a version for business servers. AVG Internet Security also includes a firewall and Anti-Spam. For Windows XP users, we generally recommend AVG Anti-Malware. Training Classes Just a reminder, our 2007 training classes have started. We have several classes every month on topics such as e-mail, Word, Excel, Publisher, Digital Cameras, PowerPoint, and more. the schedule is available on our website. Classes are $25 each and generally last about 1.5 hours. We offer discounts for multiple classes. In the next issue, we’ll cover the new versions of Windows and Microsoft Office.
