Today, there are several items I’d like to share with you.
1. Can thieves tell I have electronics in my car, even if they’re turned off?
2. Check out the Gboard keyboard for iPhone and Android-for faster typing.
3. Updates for Firefox browser
4. Helpful Reminders
1. There’s an urban legend going around that says thieves can tell you have electronics in your car, even if they’re turned off.
This is not true.
While the bad guys can’t see your hidden and turned off electronics, there are some common-sense things you can do to prevent theft.
a. Put your valuables in your trunk BEFORE you park. Thieves often watch parking areas for people hiding things in their trunk.
b. Don’t leave anything of value in view in your car. Covering them with a jacket or blanket is just an invitation to thieves.

2. Gboard Keyboard
Many of us struggle to type on the smaller keyboards of our phones and tablets. Hunt-and-Peck is slow and error prone.
One popular alternative is to swipe your finder across the screen to “draw” the word instead of typing one letter at a time, using the Gboard keyboard from Google.
It works on iPhone/iPad and Android devices.

3. Mozilla Firefox Browser Vulnerability An emergency update for Firefox was released last week. This vulnerability is being actively exploited, so please update now.
To check/update Firefox, go to the menu (three bars at the upper right of the Firefox window), click help, then click about Firefox. FYI, mine updated automatically when I did this.
