We’re excited to bring you these valuable, yet super-affordable services that are needed for every computer. 

Plan A. Software Updates, Security Software and  250 GB of Online Backup $40.00/month per computer (get 12 months for the price of 10 with your annual payment). Windows Servers $90.00/month per server.

(please note that we are not able to provide software update service for Macs. If you are interested in the other services for your Mac, we will be happy to provide them).

Software Updates
We’ll keep most popular software up-to-date. Many issues and hacks are the result of out-of-date software. Most people don’t know if a pop-up or update notification is real. We’ll take care of those for you.

Security Software
All computers need protection from Viruses and Malware – an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! We’ll also keep an eye on your anti-virus software to make sure it’s doing its job.

Online Data Backup
Having multiple copies of your files is critical. Many things can happen that would cause you to lose a single copy of your files. Things like viruses, Power surges, Computer failure, water damage, theft, and many others. We provide the backup software and monitor your online backups. We will alert you to any backup issues. Up to 250 GB of online storage space is included per computer. Storage limit upgrades are available for an additional: $5 per 500 GB, per month.

Plan C. Managed Ubiquiti Unify Network $20.00 per month
If you have Ubiquiti Unifi networking access points, switches or firewalls, we can remotely keep them updated and attempt to restart them if they go offline.

Q. I don’t want to sign up for a long-term contract. How long is this agreement?
A. Our agreement is month-to-month. You can stop anytime.

Q. How can you offer these services for so little money?
A. Good question. Most providers charge a lot more. We have priced the services to be a no-brainer for our client base: residential and very small businesses.

Q. Do I have to sign up for all services?
A. No. you can sign up for one, or more, of the services.

Q. I have multiple computers. Do they all have to be covered, or on the same plan?
A. No. You can pick and choose whichever plan is right for each device, or not to cover a device at all.

Q. Can I pay with check instead of credit card?
A. Yes, as long your check is received by the 20th of the month prior.

Q. I’m concerned about my privacy and safety. What steps have you taken to protect me?
A. We take your privacy and safety very seriously. Our staff and management have all undergone criminal background checks and drug screens to protect you. We use multi-factor authentication wherever available.

Q. Will you have access to my computer and files?
A. By default, our system is set up to require someone to be at your computer to grant us temporary access.

As an option, some clients prefer that we have remote access to their computers to allow us to provide service without the need for them to be present. That option can be turned on or off at any time.

Q. Can you provide me with scheduled reports to let me know what’s happening with my computer?
A. Yes.

Software Updates Frequently Asked Questions 
Q. Why do I need this service?
A. Maintaining and updating your computer is a long-standing best practice. All computers need routine maintenance and updates, at least yearly, more frequently for business computers or heavy usage.
This service replaces tune-ups and check-ups. Additionally, we monitor your computer for unseen issues, and we keep your software updated. Out-of-date software is a major entry point for viruses.

Q. Will you access my computer and files when you perform software updates?
A. No. Our software agent sends information about what software needs updating, and we instruct the agent to update it from a central dashboard.

 Security Frequently Asked Questions 
Q. I have virus protection. How is this service different?
A. In addition to the built-in anti-virus software Windows provides, we add a much higher level of monitoring and attempted remediation by a team of security experts.

Q. If I get a virus on my computer, will you repair it as part of this service?
A. Unfortunately, we can’t offer that level of service for such a low fee. If your computer does become infected, we will be happy to assist at our regular rates.
If you’d like fixed-fee virus removal, our plans 3 and 4 include it.
